This week has been a mess, for both Ed and I. Tonight has been no exception. That's all on that, I just wanted to whine. Oh and I didn't end up running that Rock Chalk 10K, it's for the best I didn't, trust me here. My mental state was in no mood. So no race report from me.
BAK is complete, we drove to Louisburg today to pick up Ed's riding buddy Andy and so Ed could go back and say goodbye to his buddies. I hope over the past week, after all of Ed's posts, you have come to see why I certainly do enjoy me some Edder! He does, point of fact, have is very own grown up blog that he has decided to start writing on again. So if you want to see more pictures and read more about the past few days and more tidbits on his BAK journey, you can check out his blahginess at Clicks and Whistles.
Pictures to come tomorrow... probably. I've been keeping to my empty promises lately, so if I have the drive, I will post!
Good night, and good luck... (anyone who can name where that quote is from gets a gold star, and you are most likely a broadcast nerd.)

Sometimes you just got to make the decision to not race. As hard as it is, the choice is probably for the better!
Good night, and good luck. ... Edward R. Murrow?
Yes, it's from the movie "Good Night, and Good Luck" about Edward R. Murrow. It was written and directed by George Clooney. Good call, teacherwoman!
Damn I was looking forward to that race report. Better to rest then race if you feel you should. Theres plenty more races to do
I believe you - when a race isn't right for you at the time, it just isn't right
Totally understandable and actually pretty darn admirable too. It can be hard to make that decision, even when you know it's for the best. Hope things can settle down for you soon!
If you aren't feeling a race it is better to leave it. Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
THIS...is London.
Sounds like you had a pretty rough week last week. I hope this week is better. You can always vent to me...my summer hasn't started out the greatest either. Meh...
Hope you have a better week!! :)
I hope things settle down and get back to normal for you.
Will answer your question with a question, who is the amazing news reporter who said:
"You stay classy, San Diego."
If you can get that then we are kindred spirits.. LOL
Ahh, Ron Burgundy...I heart me some Anchorman.
Who wants to do a race without a shirt giveaway, anyways? Boo.
There will be plenty more 10ks in the future. You'll get 'em next tiem.
