friday photo: it's sparkly...

I've always loved sparklers, I've been fascinated with them since I was a kid. Instead of rice at our wedding, we had sparklers (idea was courtesy of my cousin Kimbe who did it first!)
So here is a picture of me on the 4th, helping my cousin's daughter Kayleigh with her sparklers. She was a little timid at first, but I think she liked it by the time I handed over the second one. This picture sums up a great weekend at Beaver Lake with the Family.

Ahh the sweet smell of summer, fresh cut grass, burning sparklers, and the smoldering flesh of my two year old who decided to grab one this year... :(

Looks like fun!

We had sparklers at our wedding too!!
It's our 7th anniversary on Sunday. We bought up the last minute priced sparklers on the night of the 4th.

Oh how cool, we have something in common - and no, I don't mean loving guys named Ed - I too donated a large some of money to WU without getting a degree in return. Hurray for wise investments!

Aw, so cute! Although I have definitely injured myself at the hands of sparklers before. It takes a real genius to do that, let me tell you.

Augh, Sparkler fun! And to think, it was 10 years ago on Friday that we did sparkler's at my wedding! I remember that we were about to leave the church & walk through the sparklers & Grandpa decided to make his exit first! Thanks for helping Kayleigh out with the Sparklers!
