Okay. So. My cousin Rachel was out running her sixth marathon last weekend, the "Last Chance for Boston" in Ohio. She had to run 26.2 miles on a one-mile loop. Go Rachel, and she got a fantastic time at the race. The best part was of course getting an email from her telling me how she thought of me every single mile because of THIS. The below. Enjoy.
Yeah.... I had that made and planted there, just to cheer her on via hideous orange colored cone. I'm mostly bummed I didn't have time to bedazzle it. Cause it's how I roll. You're welcome Rachel. And congrats on No. 6!

And way to go on the 6th Rachel
i can't even imagine 26.2 times around a 1 mile loop.
awesomeness.
That is awesome!
Congrats to Rachel on #6!
Oh cool! That sounds like a fun thing to do! Congrats to Rachel!
CJ
Hah! Awesome!
A one mile loop marathon?? EEK! WTG Rachel!
awwww, thanks for the comments, and most of all thanks to beka for travelling all the way from wichita, ks to columbus, oh so stealthily just to be such a positive reinforcement those 26 times! hahaha, a 1 mile loop really isn't THAT bad, especially with the FWR in my head! :)
ohhhh, but when i run it next year, you'd better believe i'm expecting glitter. and sequins. it's only fair, especially with how hard i'm working on these monogrammed towels for the chicago marathon. :)
That's awesome!!
1 mile loops? That's insane. Congrats to her for sure!
Sweet!
I have to say 26 miles on a 1 mile loop sounds pretty awful. She must be tough.
That is some serious cross-brand marketing! Well done. :)
Rachel!! How did you not steal that traffic cone??? Couldn't you have just shoved it under your tank top and run off with it or something?! I mean, it's not like you'd just run a marathon or anything...
26.2 miles on a one-mile loop is crazy!! Congrats to her.
Congratulations to her! I always giggle when, in reference to the "26 aid stations on the course!" perk/description, someone asks "So-they really have 26 aid stations set up on the course (*facepalm*).
Seriously, I don't know if I could do that course-pretty impressive stuff!
thanks for your work
